Parking is a bit of a challenge as the lot is a few blocks away, but instructions are provided by the front desk. Since this is a “boutique “ hotel the hallways are quite narrow so navigating all of our luggage was awkward. (We are on a 14 day road trip so we had a LOT of luggage). If you’re also bringing a lot of luggage book a suite, our room was realty too small, but that’s on us. The hotel was exceptionally clean, as was our room. I would have given 5 stars if not for an issue that the front desk could have been more helpful with. My husband lost his phone and after I made several calls to his phone hoping someone would answer, we finally used “find my phone”. In our defense we are old, in panic mode, and technology just doesn’t come to mind. His phone was at the front desk the whole time. We just think the front desk should have answered the phone. We didn’t complain since it was after the fact. But, we do miss the days when the person at the front desk would have taken the initiative to answer the lost phone and help to find the owner.Show More

The reception staff were friendly and the complimentary refreshment station useful. Our initial room (400) was clean if a little “Tired” and the corridor carpet definitely needs replacing as they do spoil the overall look of the place. We had A/C that was noisy and cold as the panel wasn’t working. Initially the manager told us to “switch it off” which we found a little patronising but once maintenance confirmed an issue we were moved to a room on the same floor which was certainly an upgrade (407) and something I would consider paying for in hindsight. Anyone visiting NOLO please be aware of the city noise, particularly the trains, this is not the hotels fault but a pair of earplugs were very handy if you are a light sleeper. On check out we had a couple of small charges added to our credit card. This seems to be a theme in other reviews however it is simply a misunderstanding with the hotel and third party bookings system and it was rectified immediately by email. Overall we would stay again for what we needed for three nightsShow More

Rooms were clean and the rates were reasonable. Coffee bar and water cooler are in the lobby but there is a small fridge and microwave in the room. Bathroom was pretty small but had lots of towels. We stayed on the top 4th floor on the street side. Our friends stayed on the back side and did hear trash pickup in the morning but all in all it was a quiet stay. Our friends also complained of the noisy guests above them one night. Doors opening, ladies talking and things being dragged across the floor. However, we found out next morning that there are no guest rooms above the 4th floor!!Show More
