The location was great. It was a quick walk to the heart of the French quarter. The atmosphere of the location was fine. You need you room key to get into the hotel, which gave it a more safe feel. Th...The location was great. It was a quick walk to the heart of the French quarter. The atmosphere of the location was fine. You need you room key to get into the hotel, which gave it a more safe feel. The hotel staff were nice when I spoke to them. However, the lines were often long and slow when I wanted to buy anything from the very sparsely stocked mini market. The rooms were honestly a bit disappointing. The bed and pillows were a bit hard (and the pillows were small), and the bathtub was a bit grungy. The WIFI didn't work our entire stay. Our room was not cleaned the entire stay, so trash started to pile up. We had to call to get more toilet paper. The walls were very thin, so you could hear the elevator, anyone talking at all in the halls, and the cleaning staff opening and closing doors repeatedly for hours at a time. The city was only loud one night, and the rapper YoungBoy got swarmed that night. So, not the fault of the hotel. The breakfast was decent. I am used to a bit more. It had a waffle maker, yogurt cups, sausage patties, egg patties, plain bread, oatmeal packets, and three cereals. There was also orange juice, apple juice, coffee, water, and tea. I usually enjoy the sweet pastries and breakfast potatoes at hotel breakfast, but it was fine not having that. The AC in our room was also excellent! We did not go to the bar, park at the facility, use the pool, or the gym. So, maybe if we had it would have made the experience better than it was. However, we will not be booking at this location again.Show More

The location is excellent, close to the airport bus and within walking distance of both the French Quarter and the convention center. Not far from the French Quarter, nearly right on trolley and bus lines that get you to where you want to go outside of downtown. The staff were GREAT. It's a tight ship here... people working hard at breakfast, front desk responsive and efficient, concierge friendly and knowledgeable. I stayed here instead of my conference hotel and it was a good deal. My room was on the small side but it was decorated well, had a fridge if needed. A few things could be better; breakfast was simple and the same every day, and since I was here 4 days I was ready for something different when I left. The bed was not bad but also not as comfortable as you might get in a more expensive place, and the pillows were all the same despite there being five of them, and not the right fit for me. I would still stay here again without hesitation.Show More
