The team loved the outdoor space and fresh air, which was a welcome change from the usual full-day sessions in windowless conference rooms. The rooms were spacious, retro, and rustic in the best way. The bed was incredibly soft, the fridge was well stocked, the shower was perfectly hot and relaxing, and the welcome water and beer were a great touch. David, our main banquet associate, was truly outstanding. He handled everything on his own, always with a warm attitude and a willingness to help. We asked for a lot, and he never once made it feel like a burden. His support made our entire stay smoother and more comfortable. Thank you, David! Winnie, from the restaurant, was another standout. She was kind, attentive, and consistently on top of service, especially clearing plates promptly and keeping the space tidy. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially with its convenient proximity to The Domain for dining and shopping. We’re already looking forward to coming back either as a company or on my own.Show More

Perfect choice for a small village type stay with shops and restaurants all within walking distance inside the Domain. It’s dog friendly with a small dog park at the back but we took our dogs for a walk around the shops and restaurants, a lot of them have water bowls and treats outside their doors. The courtyard is a cool ranch style with a pool and bonfire pits, reception sells s’more kits to make your own around one of the pits. It’s our ‘home’ in Austin as my brother lives nearby.Show More

Issues started as I walked into the room and continued throughout the week. - There was a large stain on the carpet and the hanging lamp had a visible layer of dust. Yes I mentioned this to the front desk but nothing was done to correct it. - There was no water pressure in the shower for the first morning I was there and no one mentioned this to me. So, getting ready was a bit challenging. - In the middle of the second night of a three night stay the AC stopped working. I reported it to management but they were not able to fix the problem during my stay. When I returned to the hotel very late that evening I was offered another room but that would have meant packing everything up to unpack again in a different room in a different part of the hotel for one night. I opted not to move and they provided me with a box fan. Even though my room experience was 1 Star my experience with the front desk staff was 5 Star. In particular Candie S. did everything she could to help with each issue. She is what helped make a difficult situation tolerable.Show More

We're longtime travelers who do not mind spoiling ourselves. The check-in process with Kylie Edwards was stellar and about the best we've experienced anywhere. She was helpful and informative, going so far as to escort us as she explained recent changes. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the Water Trough several times because it had remarkably good food at decidedly reasonable prices. A special shout-out for the kindnesses offered by Nidhi at breakfast. The outdoor bar is a great addition. It's nice to visit an old favorite and see that it's only gotten better.Show More
