I had rec...This is my second time staying at this hotel, giving it a second chance from the first. I am more disappointed, the second time than I was the first time, before I even arrived at the hotel. I had received three phone calls asking if I was going to be staying at the hotel over the weekend since it was a busy weekend and I said yes, once arriving to New Orleans, I received a call from the front desk stating that I would receive a complementary upgrade to a balcony room, but when I got to the reservation desk, I still had my standard room, Why call a guest and give them an upgrade and then they get to the hotel and no upgrade. That night when I was getting ready for bed and was pulling out the hide a bed from the couch it was very unacceptable. The hideaway bed was broken and they were using trash bags to tie the lining of the bed to the frame together. The mattress was disgusting and had stains on it and should have been thrown out. I ended up sleeping on top of the couch cushions because the pullout bed was not appropriate. It did start raining that weekend and one morning I woke up and the floor by the window was soaking wet, and when I went by the light to get my phone, the floor was also wet, and there was no window by it. You could tell from the walls that there is leaking from the roof because the paint is bubbling. There was also A black stain on the carpet, which looks like it should have been removed and just left there so it looked dingy and not clean in the room.Show More
