It has an excellent restaurant downstairs and you can eat outside if you like and ...Th Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale has many wonderful aspects. It's on a street lined with shops and restaurants. It has an excellent restaurant downstairs and you can eat outside if you like and watch the locals walking their dogs!. It's a block from Riverwalk and a block from the Water Taxi. We even walked (25 minutes) to the Brightline station. We like to stay before we cruise and afterwards to unwind. We go to the nearby UPS to mail back our dirty laundry (so our suitcase isn't overweight)! The hotel itself is very clean and charming. We prefer the Tower rooms because they have gigantic bathrooms.Show More

Alan took the call and it obviously became his mission! He upgraded us to a room with a balcony and a view with a very early check in. He left a box of chocolate strawberries snd and a birthday card in the room for her. He was so excited to do this for us! He is definitely an asset and should be recognized and appreciated! The hotel was beautiful (I recommend staying in the tower as opposed to the older area), the pool was super relaxing, customer service was top notch! Definitely highly recommend!Show More

BUT those are sooo noisy from being near the street, you may as well sleep ON the street. Pool area is good, all restaurants onsite are great as is their happy hours. Prices for breakfast reasonable too. This hotel is all about location, location, location. You can walk anywhere. It's a wonderful way to be on Las Olas.Show More
