This probably would not have been my first choice in hotel. However, I went there as a part of a conference, and I found this particular Westin to be less than satisfactory. For starters it’s located ...This probably would not have been my first choice in hotel. However, I went there as a part of a conference, and I found this particular Westin to be less than satisfactory. For starters it’s located off the forbidden path. However, I can say it is close to I 95 which makes it easy access. The location was desolate, not too much in the immediate area, except for a nursing Academy and a Starbucks. The surrounding areas seemed a little undesirable. The hotel is dated, which really surprise me considering this hotel chain. Not only was it dated, but it was filthy. The elevators were horrible, the rooms had wood furniture from the 70s, the carpet was raggedy and sordid. The plumbing fixtures were dated the whole room could’ve used a major deco renovation as well as the hotel in general. The food was less than satisfactory. We had complementary morning buffet, which was unappetizing. It appears that this hotel does not get the care as other Marriott/Westin hotels probably do. My guess is because of the location. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are traveling and need a quick place to lay your head for one night. As I mentioned, it is great access to I-95.Show More

The staff are not friendly and that goes up to the attitude of their supervisors and management. The staff does not take accountability in their mistakes and they blame one another before eventually putting the blame on YOU, the guest. I don’t think I ever been to a hotel where the staff did not absolutely care about the guest. I wish I wrote down all of their names to put on this review but I can tell you the bad attitude comes from the top then lingers to everyone below. On top of that I had sent out my laundry to be cleaned and one jacket came back with a chipped button and two shirts did not make it back at all. Guess what? It cost almost $200 for that service which isn’t a big deal had they not lost anything. The one bright side of the hotel is the staff in the restaurant in the morning for breakfast. They are kind and all about the guest. Unless I had 0 options I would never come back here.Show More
