The staff is very friendly and accommodating to all needs which means the atmosphere is relaxed ...The DoubleTree Del Mar stands out compared to other hotels in the area due to its personalized service. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to all needs which means the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. The rooms are very clean which makes it a dependable place to stay. The in room televisions are large and the beds very comfortable plus they have an ample supply of pillows. The showers are always very hot and offer soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers that make showering very enjoyable. The free form pool, hot tub and lounge area have a resort feel. Not to be missed are the happy hour (4:00 - 6:30) specials and monthly special dinner offerings. Ask for Laryssa and Taylor at the front if they are available and they will answer all your questions in detail plus make check-in a smooth process. They are always looking out for the guest's well being in a special way and continuously try to make your visit enjoyable. Plus, they are entertaining and fun to be around also.Show More

I loved Sam, he was wonderful The check-in process was smooth and pleasant and their signature warm cookie was a really sweet touch. Definitely not something I was expecting the location was perfect. Loved the convenience The easy transportation the hotel itself was super peaceful and well-maintained so I was able to relax and enjoy it. It was just really clean the amenities I loved. I liked spending time by the pool liked their hot tub. There’s fitness center was well equipped so I was able to do my full workout and their restaurants have really yummy options for breakfast and dinner so frankly it really exceeded my expectations for the value of what you can get. I would definitely stay here again, and I would even go so far as to recommend it to others.Show More

I had given up hope on the Hilton brand, but the Doubltree Del Mar has given me hope! Every single employee there was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Every single employee there was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. When I checked in I had my 5 year old son with special needs with me. He was screaming after our long 10 hour ride in the car. I feel terrible I can’t exactly remember the name of the lady who helped me check in, but her kindness saved me. She immediately attended to his needs and was so kind! The pool is amazing and beautiful, there’s even wading pool for toddlers. I can’t wait to bring my grandkids! The landscaping is beautiful and wonderfully taken care of. We loved the pool! We ate at the restaurant and got room service, both were amazing and again the customer service was incredible, above and beyond. The hotel is located just a few exits south of our favorite beach, Solana! We can’t wait to be back!Show More

Room cleanliness and bed comfort was satisfactory, however, condition of the room felt like a 2star motel and was the least attractive part of our stay- multiple points of damage in the room walls furniture fixture, doors, and in bathroom, including a sink that filled with backup sewage after shower use. Front desk notified, but nothing done to remedy. Suggested they focus on refurbishing this room soon, as it definitely detracts from the comfort. We only stayed for one night, and would consider coming back if we got a room in better condition (if that’s possible). Front desk & restaurant service was very friendly. Show More
