I had read some not-so-stellar reviews about this hotel, so I was a little ambivalent about booking it. I was only there for one night as I was escaping the cold weather front in NC. The Dream is on C...I had read some not-so-stellar reviews about this hotel, so I was a little ambivalent about booking it. I was only there for one night as I was escaping the cold weather front in NC. The Dream is on Collins and 11th Street right behind the Versace Mansion and only a block away from Ocean Drive. You are close to all the restaurants and not far from the bars. I literally walked everywhere. I decided to take the bus from the airport and I was dropped off just 3 blocks away from the hotel. This was a great value hotel. I am a Hyatt loyalist and the Dream did not disappoint. Service was great. The rooms are on the small side, but if you're in South Beach you should want to get out of your room. Once you step outside the hotel you are in the middle of it all. They give you beach chairs and towels and the beach is just 3 blocks away. They have some umbrellas that clip on to the frame of the chair. The rooftop area and the pool are nice. I will definitely be back soon.Show More

My husband and I spent two nights here as a pre-cursor to a trip to the Keys and we could not have been happier with our stay. Dream is located within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit...My husband and I spent two nights here as a pre-cursor to a trip to the Keys and we could not have been happier with our stay. Dream is located within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit while in South Beach. We were provided, towels, chairs and a tote bag for a short walk to the beach (small umbrellas were also provided). I cannot say enough about the outstanding rooftop bar/pool area. The view is beautiful and the staff very friendly. Also, sunscreen was provided there which was enormously helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The elevator was a bit slow, but we were in no hurry. The pool deck could get a bit slippery, so you do need to watch your step. I hope to visit again sometime!Show More

The hotel is clean and if you need any...This is my third year in a row going to Dream South Beach. The service at this hotel is above and beyond, everyone working there is attentive and extremely nice. The hotel is clean and if you need anything, front desk is super responsive. The rooftop pool is great and the restaurant below can bring you your food right to your lounge chair. Also has access to crunch fitness down the street and they will give you a guest pass since they don’t have a gym on the premises. Will most definitely be coming back next year.Show More
