When I informed the front d...I had a frustrating experience at the Hilton Bayfront hotel on a particular day. I intended to make reservations at the Hilton Bay front, where I had stayed for five years. When I informed the front desk staff about my mistake, I wanted to cancel my reservation. However, they informed me that I couldn’t since I had already checked in using my digital key. I challenged their claim and requested to speak to a manager. They assured me that a manager wasn’t in the office and that they needed his permission to change hotels. Despite their insistence, no one made an effort to locate the manager. Feeling exasperated, I approached one of the male workers and confronted him directly. I pointed out that he could easily cancel my reservation, but he laughed and denied it. I reiterated that I was a lifetime diamond member who had been a loyal Hilton customer for the past 14 years, yet my status didn’t matter. Fortunately, a lady who claimed to work for Hilton but not for the hotel intervened. She kindly requested the worker to cancel my reservation because I was a diamond member. This incident left me with a lasting impression and a strong preference for Hilton Bayfront. The hotel is much nicer, and the staff is more friendly and accommodating.Show More

We checked out and came back after a few days. The second room was on the first floor with a bad view and very noisy. The breakfast was amazing with M & M taking care of everything and making us feel welcome. The hotel is amazing because M & M is there and I would do everything to retain him if I were his boss. The front desk staff is lacking as they are very slow and compared to the food and beverage team leaves much to be desired. More training needed in the front desk team.Show More

Michelle at the front desk is “one of a kind” She has a sweet spirit, always willing to go out of her way to accommodate the guest. I look forward to seeing her at the desk when we visit Hilton SD.
