It’s close to Seaworld, Sesame Place, San Diego Zoo, USS Midway, Maritime Museum, malls, and other spots within 1–4 miles. Great for business trips or family visits.
We’re not a picky family, and this hotel met everything we needed. The building is older, like most in Hotel Circle, but our second-floor room was very clean. No bugs. No bad smells. Sink, toilet, tub, towels, bedding, curtains, corners, and under the bed were all spotless. Floors had some marks from luggage but were mopped. AC was clean and strong. TV worked. Plenty of lamps with chargers.
Room had a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, and extra coffee available at the front desk. The freezer had built-up ice but was clean. The open closet had hangers and a long pole. Beds were clean with firm mattresses. Pillows were firm, so bring your own if you’re picky.
Lots of parking with CCTV. The lot is flat, and you can see your car from many room areas. We felt safe. I mentioned a stranger outside on the first night, and the front desk handled it. No issues after that. Area stayed quiet.
At check-in, they’ll have you sign a few papers and put a $100 hold on your card. The hold is released after checkout as long as the room is left in good shape. This is normal.
Housekeeping came on the second day and refreshed everything. No problems at all.
We paid a fair rate for Thanksgiving weekend. There are vending machines but no nearby convenience store, so bring your own drinks and snacks.
Hotel Circle sits beside the freeway, so you will hear traffic. It didn’t bother us, but light sleepers may want earplugs.
Clean room, plenty of parking, safe environment, and kind staff. We would stay here again.Show More
