Took a quick trip to Nashville (couple) and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Stayed 3 nights before heading to the smoky mountains. The location is great - less than a 10min walk to Broadway -...Took a quick trip to Nashville (couple) and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Stayed 3 nights before heading to the smoky mountains. The location is great - less than a 10min walk to Broadway - but with lots of other restaurants/ coffee shops etc. near by. This was great because it was easily accessible but much more quiet. Not too far from airport and an inexpensive Lyft got us there no problem. The hotel itself is really nice, has a boutique feel to it. Lobby is super cute, had live music one of the nights, Indoor pool , gym and free breakfast (eggs, potatoes, bacon, bagels, cereal). Our room was a suite (and for a great price) couch, full kitchen , large fridge, big island and then a separate room with a king size bed. The pillows were so comfortable ! Room was clean and the blackout curtains really did the trick. Bathroom is basic - has a barn door which isn’t the greatest for privacy but seems like lots are doing that lately. Had a decent closet and good extra counter space for getting ready. cons: we arrived a bit after 4pm and our room wasn’t ready. They did offer to hold our luggage and text us when it was ready- and they did within the hour, but after a day of travel, we didn’t really want to go walk around before settling in. Didn’t find the front desk very friendly or helpful—not rude, just not what you’re used to at a hotel. Even when checking out, they didn’t even ask how our stay was. It was just a little odd. - also no real concierge- I asked about local tours and they said they only had one they refer to and told me the name (said they were out of brochures). Lastly , the room really had nothing in the way of a view - we overlooked an empty lot and some worn down buildings but you’re not coming to Nashville for a view. My opinion is everything else made up for it. And with lots of other hotels to choose from , this hit the mark with what it had to offer, pricing and location.Show More

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine Southern hospitality and a staff that truly goes above and beyond. Every interaction felt warm, welcoming, and sincere — something you don’t always find in big-city hotels. The rooms were spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The bed was unbelievably cozy, the layout was spacious, and having the kitchenette was a huge bonus. Everything felt well-designed and very well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with fresh options that changed enough to keep things interesting. The staff working the breakfast area were so friendly and attentive — they made mornings feel easy. Location-wise, you really can’t beat it. The hotel is in a perfect spot: close to great restaurants, live music, and some of Nashville’s best attractions, yet still quiet enough to relax when you’re ready to unwind. One of the true highlights was the outstanding service — everyone I interacted with was helpful, upbeat, and seemed genuinely invested in making my stay wonderful. It’s rare to find a hotel that makes you feel both taken care of and completely at ease, and Hyatt House Nashville nailed it. I truly can’t recommend this place enough. Just a “do you have a reservation” from the front desk attendant. This morning we were checking out and the desk clerk told me that the 50.00 incidental hold would be back on my card in 3-5 days. I told her i wanted to pay cash for the room and she took my 421.00 cash and said she would email me the receipt. She never mentioned to me that they ran my card for the full amount even after I paid her the cash. A couple of hours passed and I didn’t receive a receipt. I was checking my bank app to see my balance and noticed that Hyatt house deducted 471.00 from my bank after also taking my 421.00 cash. The room total was 421.00. Now they have 900.00 of my money. I went back to the hotel and discussed this issue with the general manager, (Matt) for an hour and with no budge he didn’t refund my cash so I had no money left in my bank for gas etc to get back home! It was a complete disaster. They never apologized. The clerk (Lecia) never admitted her mistake once. Just stood there like an angel and ignored me. I tried calling corporate but there was nothing they could do either. So now i’m left with them having 900.00 of my money and none to get home etc. I WILL NEVER STAY WITH HYATT AGAIN.Show More

I DID reserve a room with a tub and king sized bed…. However upon arrival… that is not what my reservation said (but that is an Expedia issue… not a Hyatt one.) The room we were given was definitely spacious, clean, & comfortable, complete with a chaise lounge that doubled as an additional bed, if needed! . The freezer, I mean AC absolutely worked perfectly! The mini fridge definitely came in handy, as did the microwave & coffee maker. The wall space was well-utilized with book-shelves above the computer desk and some small nooks above the fridge/coffee bar. Not sure how old the hotel itself is, but the room’s walls were still covered in wall paper… who uses wall paper any more? Now for the minor complaints: 1) In my particular room, there was mildew near the base of the shower door beneath the bottom hinge; marks on the walls from the luggage cart near the room door; the wall paper was peeling in one area that I saw; and my room had the view of another high-rise hotel — but that is difficult to avoid in a city full of high-rises! The minor complaints are far outweighed by the hotels close proximity to downtown attractions & nightlife! The staff was very gracious and hospitable! A definite stay on my next visit to Nashville!Show More
