8.1(1380)5/10 A very expensive disappointment. I do not recommend Paradise Point.
View is beautiful. We were in a waterfront villa with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the description does not stress the beach & back yard is public. Both nights we were there we could not be outside enjoying our area because people were in our backyard and on the beach having a fire, fishing, and smoking. It was not private for us and very uncomfortable because we had to close the windows and not enjoy the $700 per night room that we paid for. Please read on for details and photos of the poor condition of the property and dirty rooms.

10/10 I can't wait to go back again. This resort takes you out of the mundane of life. Wonderful stay.
Beautiful bayside room with a huge window which I appreciated as it was cold and rainy during our first day yet opening up the window was a plus as we were nice and warm inside, yet we could appreciate the view.

8/10 Beautiful resort with a tiny fitness center
Overall this place is excellent. The rooms are really spacious, the property is quiet. It sits on a public beach and public parking is on the premises so some people felt slightly unsafe, but overall it is nice. The food is also excellent. The biggest downside that knocked it from 5 to 4 stars is the fitness center is really small compared to the size of the hotel so it was overly crowded with lines to use things.

6/10 Beautiful grounds. Rooms not so much
The room was more like a motel. AC/ heat was so loud we had to turn it off at night. Walls extremely thin could here the next door guests especially since their TV was mounted on our bed wall. Room was clean but they could benefit from new towels some were tread bare. The best part was the grounds and pool areas very pretty and the proximity to most everything you would like to see.

Overall a nice stay at Paradise Point Resort.
We stayed during the holidays, and it was obvious the hotel was full and the team were busy. The front desk team were helpful and attentive when we requested a room change. And overall our stay was great! Room service was prompt and easy, and this hotel is perfect for families with little kids.

10/10 We love Paradise Point! It's become our annual escape!
We love the property. It's beautiful and there's so much to explore. Even as my kids get older, they adore feeding the ducks, koi, and turtles. It feels like we're a million miles away, and yet amenities are so close. We've made this an annual stay!

The staff including receptionist and bell men are outstanding. The old man helping us with luggages is very friendly and good person. The restaurants Tidal & Barefoot serve excellent foods.

The rooms are filthy, the coffee machine has never been cleaned, there are cob webs in the shower. The patch work to previous holes in the wall is basic, the heater in the room is super loud. I was here for work, if this was a vacation I would have checked out and found another hotel. The best part of about the property is the grounds.

10/10 We heart Paradise Point!
We love this resort. It's beautiful, and fun for all ages. Plenty to see and do, and you feel as if you're deep in the tropics while also being close to everything San Diego has to offer. A wonderful escape from cold weather in February! We're already planning to come back next year!

7/10 Enjoyed with small kids despite old meh rooms
Great location, beach, pools, ponds where kids can feed ducks, turtles and fish. Very nice restaurant on site.
But the rooms are old, small, somewhat dirty. You will hear neighbors. The bed was uncomfortable. Even bed sheets felt old and rough on skin.

One specific front office guy that worked night on a thursday was amazing!!! He made my kids’s spring break that what was once devastating into a memorable and amazing experience with this resort.

Everything was great. We liked that everything was close by and we didn't have to travel far for the attractions. Our bongaloo was amazing and the access to the water for our grand daughter to play in and we could watch her was relaxing.
