First of all, the pictures shown on the site are nowhere near accurate. They must have certain "display" rooms, because ours wasn't in the same realm of nice. They must have certain "display" rooms, because ours wasn't in the same realm of nice. Our first red flag was when we walked into the lobby and the front desk was behind bulletproof glass (only shown in a handful of pictures and you only notice if you've been there) and sold alcohol and cigarettes. The preferred "air freshener" being pumped into the lobby is the spray that neutralizes cigarette smoke (a little bit is more than enough!) that gave me an instant migraine. The gentleman behind the counter was nice enough - the computer "allowed" him to upgrade us to a king suite with a jacuzzi at no extra cost. Since we were already exhuasted, we didn't care at that point - we just wanted to go to bed. He explained to us about the shuttle to Port Miami ($30/pp) and that we needed to be in the lobby 15 minutes prior to departure at 11AM. There is a bar attached that was extremely loud and I felt bad for those staying on the ground level or with rooms facing the pool/courtyard. The keys to our first room didn't work, so we headed back to the lobby (and that terrible smell) where we were told that we'd be upgraded for the inconvenience (same type of room) and offered a free bottle of wine. The second room was better, but the jacuzzi tub was dirty (not that we were going to use it anyway) and we didn't dare use the shower. The clientele were shady and we didn't feel safe. My husband put his suitcase on the floor flush with the door in case someone tried to slide something under the door to open it in the middle of the night. As soon as we walked into the breakfast area in the morning, we were immediately bombarded by a worker asking for our breakfast ticket (given to you when you check in). Be advised that the breakfast area pictured on the website is 1000% nicer than it actually is....no booths or wooden tables. The area consists of 10ft white foldable tables that are bowing in the middle and flimsy chairs. The offerings were your standard "complementary" breakfast fodder: powdered eggs, sausage, waffle maker and assorted store bought pastries. The workers wouldn't let you get any beverages for yourself except for water. The shuttle to Port Miami was scheduled to leave at 11AM (according to our ticket). Good thing my husband is super paranoid. We went to the lobby at 10:20, and I'm glad we did as they were making the FINAL call for our shuttle to the Port. Had we done exactly as we were told, we most likely would've been out $60 for our shuttle and had to pay another $65 for an Uber. Did this place get the job done? Sure, but not without some anxiety on our parts. We definitely would NOT stay here again.Show More

Stayed there for one night prior to cruise, check in was very slow, I had never even experienced that before,2 windows were open and both took a long time, the girl that was checking me in was I belie...Stayed there for one night prior to cruise, check in was very slow, I had never even experienced that before,2 windows were open and both took a long time, the girl that was checking me in was I believe new hire and was just staying there holding my dr.license for a good 20 minutes and looking at the other guy in the next window who was also having difficulty with his guests wanting to ask him how it’s done, and I had prepaid already,I was very patient but finally asked if there was a problem,she just smiled, then I was charged some $7 and refunded, then security charge I believe and nothing was explained and very not in a nice way and super confusing, room was fine, same as shuttle both ways but I would not stay there again because of the check in experience,still yet have to check my credit card to make sure there was not an extra charges.Show More
