When we checked in, we were told that the swimming pool was not open, but we were still charged for amenities. I had originally reserved this stay for my wife's 26th birthday celebration and had made a reservation for dinner at Kan Pai. Then, shortly after we received a text from Kan Pai informing us that their menu was restricted for that evening, we were met with a messy room in room 1905, complete with trash on the carpet and coffee table, as well as a large circle stain beneath the table. Soon after, Kan Pai texted us to let us know that their menu was restricted that evening. Greg, the front desk manager, called me to help me make reservations for dinner at another restaurant. This was a nice gesture of his, but it wasn't ideal because the other restaurant's only available time that evening seemed late for my wife and me. Nevertheless, I tried to make the reservation with Greg in the hopes that it would be a good move for us, but I didn't show up for our reservation and was charged $100 for a no show fee. In the end, I wasn't supposed to be charged in the first place if Kan Pai had their regular menu that evening. The hotel was unclean and needed to be cleaned by housekeeping, and the meal with a small menu was a failure, so what I had anticipated would be a great evening for my wife and I turned into a disaster in my opinion. We went to Kan Pai for a few cocktails and some sushi, but we weren't content, so we headed to our hotel in the hopes that the cuisine there would be better. However, it turned out to be worse. The wagyu steak was dull and dry, and the pizza was charred.Show More

However, my friend and I...I stayed at the Eiko for one week on a business trip. I was recommended this hotel by my colleagues, and overall I had a decent experience in terms of the quality of the room. However, my friend and I did have a case where we ordered from a food delivery service, And the food was stolen five minutes after it was delivered to the hotel’s delivery box. The hotel’s manager took a very long time to speak with us, And after they did, they did not offer any solutions such as a food credit or making sure our next delivery was delivered to our door. I would recommend that they enhance security measures around the delivery boxes and make sure they confirm that the deliveries are delivered to the correct guest. The rooms are clean, but the amenities were sometimes not fully stocked up depending on the day. Compared to the other larger chain, I felt that the service level was a little bit underwhelming for the price.Show More

We arrived about 30 minutes before check-in, and even though our room was already ready, we were told we’d have to pay a $50 early check-in fee or wait until 3 PM. We had a baby with us, and it was disappointing that they weren’t more understanding in that situation. Additionally, the pool was under construction, and we weren’t informed in advance. Although the hotel offered an alternative option to use a nearby hotel’s pool, it wasn’t convenient for us, especially since we were still charged an amenities fee even though we couldn’t use the on-site facilities. Overall, the property itself was clean and quiet, but the lack of flexibility and communication made the experience less enjoyable than expected.Show More
