First and foremost, the hardware and facilities have always been satisfactory: The rooms consistently offer a sense of comfortable reassurance and cleanliness, with all amenities well maintained. I am grateful that the hotel always arranges a harbor-view room for me. The gym is fully equipped, and the provision of both a steam room and a sauna room is a welcome feature. What matters even more is the impeccable level of service: The staff at both the front desk and the Harbour View Lounge have always been professional and efficient. I am particularly impressed by Payton from the lobby concierge team. On every occasion, he proactively steps forward to inquire about my needs. His courtesy is never superficial; rather, it stems from a genuine, guest-first professionalism. This is my son’s first visit to Hong Kong, and after learning about the beautiful Victoria Harbour during his research, he was excited to see it in person. I requested a high-floor room, and the hotel kindly accommodated this. The harbour view from our room is absolutely breathtaking. The room itself is spotless, and the bathroom and amenities exceeded my expectations. After long days of walking and shopping around the city, we always found ourselves eager to return to the hotel to relax and unwind. The location is extremely convenient—something I especially appreciate as a former resident of the area. You’ll find everything you need nearby, from food and grocery stores to public transportation and everyday errands. If this is your first visit to Hong Kong, I would definitely recommend staying here. North Point is not sitting at the “downtown” of the city, which means it is not as crowded as the major tourist hotspots. You can experience this location in its authentic ways: lively and full of local vibes. It certainly offers you a real taste of daily life in Hong Kong. It's situated next to and directly above a shopping mall and across the street from a subway station for a quick trip anywhere in Hong Kong. The staff practices a service-excellence attitude, especially the entire staff at breakfast is outstanding and provides excellent service. I was welcomed warmly every morning and treated like a special guest. I experienced something really extraordinary at this hotel. My wife and I checked in at 1:00am after a long flight from Vietnam. The air conditioning wasn't working very well in our room. A technician was sent who worked on it, but it still wasn't very cold. I didn't want to say anything else or complain, but the next morning I received a phone call from the service desk saying they had spoken to the engineer and he didn't feel it was fixed completely. They ASKED if I wanted to move to a new room for a more comfortable stay! I thought this was really going above-and-beyond because most hotels would just have left it alone and I wouldn't have asked for a new room. But the fact that the Hyatt Centric Hong Kong staff followed up and offered a new room meant they were really concerned about my stay. It was unexpected but really appreciated.Show More

The hotel offers great snack coupons to help you explore the surrounding area. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Check-in, pool, housekeeping, doorman, and even the club lounge were all helpful! The day before arriving, I received a welcome email from Helen, along with some brief check-in instructions. Not all Hyatts send this email, but it wasn't particularly special. I was still happy and sent a thank-you note. The staff member who helped me check in at the lounge was Helen! We greeted each other warmly. She showed me all the facilities I could enjoy and even helped me with any requests I had. Most importantly, she greeted me warmly and took great care of me in the lounge every night. Of course, the friendly nature of all the staff members was a hallmark of Hyatt Centric. Being a large, multi-brand hotel, it can be difficult to feel a personal connection, but Hyatt Centric's all staff manages to do just that. The hotel is fortunate to have such staff like Helen.
