I'm new to the Langham brand, and such a fan now! The check-in process started off with a hiccup, but was wonderfully rectified by the professional front desk staff. For FHR, they give you a cute sheet with all the benefits, including breakfast (buffet/room service), $100 credit, late checkout, room upgrade etc. I got upgraded to the deluxe twin room, which I highly recommend because it's renovated with the white marble bathroom. As a note, these are true twin beds, not full-size. The hotel has an English vibe, and both lobby decor and rooms are gorgeous. My room was immaculate. I bet a woman was involved in the design because the lighting in the bathroom and room are probably the best I've ever seen in a hotel and I enjoyed it very much. It's the worst when you're in a dark hotel room trying to read something, or trying to apply makeup in crappy ("vibey" lol) bathroom lighting. The thermostat was also very responsive, which is not always the case in Asia, even in 5 star hotels. Overall, the room was a great size for HK and such a comforting oasis within the midst of the busy city. The service is also outstanding, from the front desk, to the door people, room service, and housekeeping. The staff are so good at what they do! Location is great with loads of restaurants around and close to the MTR. It's also easy to grab a cab or Uber because of the separate hotel entrance.Show More

What stood out even more was how one of your colleagues accompanied me all the way to the Langham Club on the 11th floor. As a first-time guest, this gesture made me feel genuinely cared for. Moreover, I was thoughtfully invited to enjoy the afternoon tea at the Club while the staff completed the check-in formalities on my behalf—a truly considerate touch. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the housekeeping team. Not only were they courteous and proactive in greeting us, but they also went above and beyond to fulfill our requests, promptly providing additional room amenities without hesitation. Upon check-out, I was equally impressed by the patience and understanding shown by the staff member who came to inspect the room. Despite the fact that I was still in the process of organizing my belongings, they waited without any sign of complaint—a true testament to the hotel’s commitment to outstanding service. Lastly, I must commend the exquisite dining experience, especially at the restaurant. Every dish reflected the chef’s dedication and skill, but I was particularly delighted by the bakery section—the nutty chocolate bar served during breakfast was an absolute highlight!Show More

Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a beautiful suite, such a thoughtful gesture that really set the tone for a wonderful visit. The highlight of my stay was the Langham Club Lounge, where Pharley and the entire team provided exceptional service. Pharley was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. All the staff in the lounge were equally professional and genuinely welcoming, creating a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The food and drink selections in the lounge were outstanding, everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and offered plenty of variety throughout the day. Overall, The Langham truly delivers luxury with a personal touch. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong and will definitely be back on my next trip!Show More

First room was bad. 1990s not renovated with the old musky smell. Changed room to the refurbished room , was better but had strong cigarette smell even though it was a non smoking hotel. Overall hotel lobby and entire look and feel is that it is a very old hotel that needs a major renovation. Even the breakfast place is old. Food was so so. The dim sum was low average. Food overall was low average. Again I am just comparing based on the price point. Cost benefit value logic. Low cost to value benefit. Location is not that great as the MTR itself is not that near. Only good thing is that the room size I guess is decent for HK standards. There are way better hotels out there for this price point. It took me back 30 years ago. It is not modern nor luxurious at all.Show More
