Some ...At the Omni Hotel in Boston, the people were absolutely the best part of the experience. The service was impeccable—everyone was polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. The food was mixed. Some items were good, others not so much. The chicken was not good, the salmon was dry, and while the beef tasted good, it was fatty. The best meals I had were at lunch, especially the sandwiches. The salads, however, felt overly fancy—lunch should be straightforward, not complicated. Breakfast was fine overall, though the sausage tasted a bit off, so I skipped it. On Friday night, there was too much quinoa mixed into the sweet potatoes, but the meatballs and salad were excellent—10 out of 10. I don’t drink alcohol, and I want to give special credit to the bartender, who accommodated me perfectly—10 out of 10 service. Unfortunately, the room was a major disappointment. It had the worst layout I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Even guests from Japan commented on how small it was. The glass door to the toilet was misaligned and would hit the glass separating the toilet from the shower. While the shower itself was nice and the water was hot, that’s something I’d expect from a basic 3-star hotel. The nightstands were far too small, and I was very glad I brought the extension cord I take on cruise ships. Overall, my stay was okay, made worthwhile mainly by the outstanding staff, but held back by the room design and inconsistent food quality.Show More

The hotel was especially beautiful during the Christmas season — festive, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, which really added to the experience and made the stay feel special. A special shout-out to Ziggy, who truly stood out. Ziggy was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming — the kind of person who makes a stay memorable and sets the tone for the entire experience. The hotel is well-located, comfortable, and well-run, but it’s the people and the holiday atmosphere that truly made this stay memorable. Their hospitality really stood out. Our deluxe room was fabulous, the bed was very soft and comfortable. It looked very nice and the fridge was very convenient. The restaurant was a highlight, Miguel and Ron were very friendly and the service as well as the food were exceptional. I highly recommend the lobster roll and pina colada, they were 10/10.
