The staff upon arriva...We stayed at the Whitney and took advantage of the TD Garden package (includes a $20 uber gift card!) since we were in town for a concert at TD Garden! This hotel is wonderful. The staff upon arrival were so friendly and happy to keep our bags as our room wasn't ready and we were ready to explore. When we came back our bags were placed in our room which was great service after a long walk around the city. The amenities in the room are wonderful...robes are luxurious, the bathroom products were great and the Neopresso machine is a so nice to have. We reserved a room with the Whitney Pantry and had snacks in our room along with a hallway pantry of apples, cookies, and canned drinks during the stay, these were great and much appreciated. Our only criticism is that after our first night our room wasn't serviced until almost 4:00; we had come back to change before an early dinner and had to ask housekeeping to come back. The hotel is conveniently located at a Train stop (and even as first timers, it was so easy to navigate the public transit!) and the neighborhood of Beacon Hill and Back Bay are easily explored on foot from the Whitney. The restaurant is fantastic so plan to at least have breakfast there, delicious! Overall would 100% stay here again and look forward to doing so!Show More

I have stayed in nine major Boston hotels, and the Whitney is the one that stands above all. Upon arrival, it was immediately noticed that my hands were full and I had a dog, and like magic, the door opened automatically, my arrival anticipated and seen from dozens of feet away. I was greeted by Kamel, who informed me that I had been upgraded to a suite. He was incredible kind, professional, and welcoming, and I knew that I had made the right choice. His team, Jac and Mabelin, assisted me further, greeted my sweet little dog, and checked me in. The complimentary box of water was very appreciated. My room was more than I could have hoped for. A top floor suite with corner windows outlooking the T and the Charles River. The room boasted a sitting room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and several amenities. A bed and food bowls, as well as treats and doggy bags were waiting our arrival. It was such a beautiful touch and made me feel as though my pup was also a guest. The room boasted a Nespresso coffee corner, wonderful linens, a selection of snacks, wine and alcohol to purchase should I choose, and wonderful shower products.Show More

I walked everywhere I needed to be and for trips further afield, the Red line station is right across the road.
