We were looking for a place to stay that was near the theater, near food, and near east parking.
The Revolution Hotel hit it out of the park on all counts. This fun, quirky, cool spot was just a 5 minute walk to our show and oodles of great spots to eat, drink and be merry. It’s located in an absolutely charming neighborhood, away from the Boston hustle and bustle for close enough that you can be there if you need to be there
We prepaid an overnight parking garage via spot hero, located at 15 Warren street that was a 4 minute walk to the hotel . Parking from 4:30pm to 11:30 am came to $37
The hotel’s lobby is full of fun eye candy to look at, with a gas fireplace, comfy seating and “the spy bar” for cocktails just up a short flight of stairs.
The basic clientele of the hotel seems young. We’re in our 70s however, so everyone seems too damned young, lol. The staff is super friendly and outgoing.
We chose a room with a bathroom in it (there are many VERY reasonably priced with bathrooms f do own the hall or shared between two rooms).
Our studio room was actually in the Revolution Lofts across the street. The room was excellent, and in the Goldilocks zone of room sizes. Not big and not to small. It came with a microwave, counter top stove, small fridge, coffee maker and actual cutlery, cooking implements and plates
In addition it on the border of the south end, a short walk to the backbay station, Copley Square, the and 15 minute walk to the theater district.
On our drive home we both agreed we need a return trip to The Revolution Hotel, for a longer stay.Show More
