10/10 Amazing Birthday Getaway!
I stayed at this property for five nights in September, and the great staff at this hotel helped me not only have an amazing birthday, but the best vacation of my adult life. This hotel’s location was as close to perfect as possible, with easy connectivity via the DLR, the Underground, and the new Elizabeth Line, giving it a direct connection to Heathrow. Being right by Crossrail Place, it is also convenient to a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. This was my first time in the UK, and I was there primarily for West End Theatre, after a few days in the Midlands to go to Alton Towers, and the hospitality started even before check-in. While on the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow after returning my rental car, I saw an email from the hotel asking about my arrival time, to which I replied to let them know my plans. This made the check-in experience, (to Quote Ryan George) Super Easy, Barely an inconvenience. Thanks to my Marriott Bonvoy status, I was able to get one of the best suites in the entire hotel with an upgrade I had available, and the amazing team was able to get me that upgrade for my entire stay. I know that isn’t typical for a five night stay, but when I told them it was my first time in London, and I was there for my birthday, they went above and beyond to honor the upgrade request since they thankfully had the suite available. I know suites are limited, so I am thankful to the amazing staff for the upgrade! The team at the hotel was amazing, and they really made me feel at home on my first ever trip outside North America. From front desk to the restaurant, the club lounge, and even the cleaning staff, just about everyone I encountered was wonderful. Even the evening security folks I saw coming back from the West End on several nights were wonderful. Speaking of the West End, I came back from a couple of shows on my birthday to a special gift and note from the hotel, with a personalized note. Since it has been more than a few months since the trip, I can’t remember the names of the great people who made this trip so magical, but this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in recent years, and it contributed to this being an almost magical experience. No major issues with the stay, and any minor issues I had were addressed with empathy front he staff. One minor “complaint” I had was that the next time the hotel renovates, they need to buy larger TVs. I’m spoiled being from the US, because the newer Marriott properties here have huge TVs. I highly recommend this property, and hope I get the chance to stay there again if I can make it back to London in the next year or two!

10/10 Excellent Stay at Marriott Canary Wharf!
We had an exceptional stay at the Marriott Canary Wharf, largely thanks to the warm and welcoming staff. Our experience began with a lovely email from Roberta Frascogna, the Guest Experience Expert, who welcomed us and made us feel special for our weekend anniversary celebration. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Charlie, a charming young man who took care of our check-in process. His professionalism, politeness and friendliness set the tone for a fantastic stay—exactly what you need when checking into any hotel. It really makes all the difference. We stayed in Room 306, which was beautifully prepared and we were greeted with thoughtful treats, which we believe Roberta had arranged. It was a lovely touch. We encountered a few minor issues in the room: the phone was not working, but an engineer promptly fixed it and the bed had a questionable stain, which housekeeping cleaned and disinfected right away after we notified them. We were happy with the room, but the shower had a significant issue—it was stuck on scalding hot. That said, the issue was resolved swiftly by Sukanya Chinchalkar, the Guest Experience Supervisor via a quick call; we were upgraded to Room 808, which came with lounge access. The room was better: slightly larger TV and a stunning view from the higher floor. She handled the situation with such friendliness, making us feel valued. The executive room had a few perks, such as access to the lounge, although I must be honest: while the food was okay, it wasn't something I’d pay for. But who doesn’t enjoy a freebie? I’d also like to give a special shoutout to Daria and Kona, the turn-down service team, who brought some humour to our evenings. Xavier was also a friendly face and Emran took care of us in the lounge. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel for its friendly and attentive service and comfortable rooms. Hospitality is truly the cornerstone of a great stay and the staff here made all the difference. While the room issues were a slight inconvenience the swift resolutions and excellent service more than made up for them. We’ll be back! Special thanks to Roberta, Sukanya and Charlie :)

9/10 Calm hotel with spacious rooms
The staff at the hotel was really helpful and nice, the location was good, close to restaurants and lots of shops, during the daytime the area was active but really calm at night and far from the main touristic area of the city, which is perfect for staying in a more relaxing environment than the center, the room was relatively spacious and had enough space to be comfortable

The location was superb. Hospitality. I think one of the best when it comes to hospitality. The staff were very grounded and very soft spoken. Only smiles on Enrons face which means they very happy to work there.

Staff were great, location to public transport was very good, bed and pillows super comfy, bar choice, drinks and food was very good and staff very helpful. There was no noise from outside that we could hear. Good breakfast selection.

8/10 The location wasn’t great. My stay was ok.
After finding no concierge when I arrived and having a fellow lady guest carry my case up to reception I wasn’t happy. But Antonio (I think that was his name - a Romanian) - was so helpful and friendly whilst remaining professional that it cheered up my arrival.

The room was very clean and comfortable, we had room service for breakfast which was lovely but the best part was we didnt have to check out until midday which is so rare nowadays means we could take our time. When we got into the room we found our kettle wasnt working we informed the hotel who had it checked and replaced very quickly

Lovely hotel. Really friendly staff that allowed us to check in early and store our bags safely on checkout. The man at the door (didn’t catch his name) was particularly lovely asking us if we’d had a nice evening, offering suggestions for our route home. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Highly recommend.

TV didn’t work in the first room, so phoned reception to arrange to move, then they managed to lock us out of the fridge and had to phone 3 times to get that sorted, then waiting nearly 30 mins for someone to walk up from reception with the new keys. Shambles, made me late for work expected better service for the price and the name.

Good room, really friendly staff at reception, and the concierge Aaron who went out of his way to talk to us and take an interest in our visit and views of the hotel (and gave the boys cookies!). The bar team were also open and friendly, they have some people working there.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff could not do enough for us! Special mention must go to Aaron the concierge. He gave us a warm welcome and checked in on us during our stay. Top man. The breakfast was lovely and the chef was amazing with the kids.
